It’s Low Carb & High Protein Turkey Burger O’ Clock

Ok so I got to the conclusion that when you crave for something you need to give your body what it asks for…I guess mine is a pretty spoiled one! That’s why I always tend to look for a healthier version of meals…. not only for how you look in the outside but you feel in the inside! (Which is what really matters when years start passing by and your lifestyle’s paycheck begins knocking your door! )

For all of you burgers eaters (or not) this Paleo low carb & high protein Turkey Burger with Almond cheese will trick your taste buds for the real thing…trust me!

Paleo Buns Recipe (6 half buns)

2 Eggs

½ cup Almond Meal

6 tbsp Alomd Milk

2 tbsp Apple vinegar

1 tsp Baking Powder

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp mustard powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp dried oregano

Set oven to 350 °F. Mix all ingredients. Pour mixture into a non-stick donut pan (***I love these because I can also twist it a little and  replace the paprika, mustard, garlic and oregano for the same quantities of stevia, cinnamon and nutmeg.. and ta-da! a sweet alternative for my p&J sandwich…I mean Almond Butter & jelly sandwich {more protein}. Bake for 15 min and its ready!!! You can bake a bunch in advance and keep them in the fridge or even freeze them!!! These are the best…stop buying crappy bread with hidden bad ingredients and just bake your own!!! It just takes 20 min!

Turkey Burger (1 patty)

100 g extra lean organic ground turkey

1 tbsp wholegrain mustard

1tbsp  fresh rosemary

½  tsp sal

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp garlic paste

Mix all the ingredients. Cook in a medium-high heated pan using 1 tsp Coconut/Olive oil or olive oil cooking spray. When is almost to point (aprox 4 minutes per side) add the Almond Cheese slide and it will beautifully melt!!

Place your turkey patty in between our gorgeous Paleo buns and enjoy!!! No need of extra sauces or ketchup, the flavors in the bread and turkey are sooo rich ;) Yum yum!! Garnish with some micro greens…I love rugula & Kale micro greens :)

Always remember: with a full belly a happy heart....even happier if its full of healthy and nutritious food!
