It is very true that the people who you surround yourself with is key for being successful (successful meaning in peace, positive, and content....Everyones meaning of success is different! Have you thought about yours?) Thats the reason why Food from the Heart is pure love and radiates the most awesome vibes :) Everyone that has been involved with this brand and especially with my latest project (my beautiful book), are truly passionate about what they do, they have a special connection with me and my project in one way or another and most importantly they do what they do from the heart. Natalia Swarz my illustrator and designer, Valerie Lopez my personal photographer and bestie and Daniela Sandoval my childhood friend the one that has known me since forever, was my eyes and everything in the book's printing process.

One thing that has been crucial for me is my motivation for doing what I do, which is love. Sometimes it can get a little challenging, but just like when I was pregnant writing my book, everything is about being passionate. As tired as I was during my pregnancy and afterwards with my newborn, I kept going. Always having in mind that if there was a moment that I wasn't feeling it or things weren't flowing, I will just stop or give myself a break....I wanted my book to be the result of the best energy and love possible.

So here is where the people surrounding you play a role in the puzzle of your life, they have to be emanating that same energy to what they do, so the outcome is truly the fruit of the coolest intentions, dedication and love...

One person that has been my biggest pilar is Natalia Swarz, the most talented girl who believed in me 5 years ago when we reached out for our logo design. She was the one that helped us discover what Food from the Heart is today! The most patient (I can be annoying sometimes, just a little), sweet and just crazy talented girl, we haven't seen each other in person for over 4 years now! We did everything long distance via FaceTime and using googleDocs, going one page at the time with corrections and ideas! It was truly an honor to have the opportunity of working in this project together, something we've always dreamed about! Miss our long calls so much!

Valerie, my bestie AKA personal photographer plays a daily role with Food from the Heart, she keeps up with me when I'm ready to quit, when I want to cry or when I need to sweat it all out! hahahaha. She is my partner in crime and the first person I told about the idea of writing a book!!! (thanks for your pulling my ears when I need it!)

Daniela Sandoval, my childhood friend that helped me with the publishing side of the book. If it weren't for her commitment and her faith in me and my project , my beautiful book that I worked so hard on wouldn't have come to life!

A very special thanks to my beautiful sister Caro for being my official distributor in Colombia. for not killing me every time I ask for a favor. Thank you for making time for us!!!! (miss you!!)

Es demasiado cierto que laspersonas que te rodean juegan un papel clave para ser exitoso (el exitoso siendo el estar en paz, positivo y contenta….todo el mundo tiene diferentes significados del éxito! Haz pensado en que significa tener éxito para ti?) Y podría decir que esa es la razón por la cual Food from the Heart es puro amor e irradia las mejores vibras :) , todo el mundo que ha estado involucrado en la marca y especialmente en mi ultimo proyecto (mi librito hermoso), son de verdad apasionadas por lo que hacen, tienen una conexión especial con mi proyecto y lo mas importante es que lo que hacen lo hacen desde el Corazón. Natalia Swarz, mi ilustradora y diseñadora, Valerie Lopez mi fotógrafa preferida y amiga del alma y Daniela Sandoval mi amiga de infancia quien me ha conocido desde siempre, fue mis ojos y mi todo el todo el proceso de impresión de mi libro.

Una cosas cruciales para mi es que mi motivación es el amor que tengo por lo que hago. A veces se puede poner difícil, pero como cuando estaba escribiendo y en embarazo, todo se trata de ser apasionado por lo que se hace. Así me sintiera cansada en embarazo y luego con un recién nacido, yo seguí siempre teniendo en cuenta que si llegaba un momento donde no lo estuviera sintiendo o las cosas no fluyeran, yo simplemente iba a parar y darme un descanso….yo quería que mi libro fuera el fruto de todo el amor y las mejores energías posibles.

Entonces es ahí donde tu equipo juega un rol tan importante en tu vida, ellos tienen que emanar esa misma energía por lo que hacen para que el resultado sea de verdad ese fruto de las mejores intenciones, dedicación y amor…

Una persona que ha sido un pilar importante es Natalia Swarz, la niña mas talentosa que creyó en mi hace 5 años cuando la contactamos para el diseño del logo. Ella nos ayudo a descubrir lo que Food from the Heart es hoy! La mas paciente (yo podría llegar a ser un poco intensa a veces, solo un poco), súper dulce y puro talento! No nos hemos podido ver desde hace ratico L Todo lo hicimos larga distancia por FaceTime y GoogleDocs, corrigiendo pagina por pagina! Fue de verdad un honor haber tenido la oportunidad de trabajar juntas en algo que soñamos las dos! Extraño nuestras llamadas enteras!

Valerie, mi mejor amiga y fotógrafa de cabecera juega un rol diario importantísimo en Food From the Heart, ella me aguanta mis momentos y me empuja cuando quiero tirar la toalla o cuando necesito una sudadita para relajarme! Jajajja Es mi cómplice y la primera persona que le dije de mi idea de escribir un libro!!! (gracias por jalarme las orejas cuando lo necesito también!)

Daniela Sandoval, mi amiga de toda la vida que me ayudo tanto con toda la impresión del libro, si no hubiera sido por su compromiso y por su fe en mi y en mi proyecto mi lindo libro al que le metí mi todo no hubiera sido posible

Un agradecimiento muy especial a mi Hermana Caro por ser mi distribuidora oficial en Colombia!! Gracias por no matarme cada vez que te pido un favor y por hacerme siempre tiempito!! ( Te extraño)
